Kaitlyn Duncan, DNP

Kaitlyn is a native of Bloomington, IL. She began her career as a Family Nurse Practitioner in November 2021 caring for patients of all ages in a local primary care setting. She is thrilled to be returning to BPC as a full-time Nurse Practitioner. Kaitlyn enjoys spending time with her husband Austin and two dogs, reading, and watching TV. Her special interest areas include mental health, women’s health, pediatrics, and preventive medicine.

Katelynne was born and raised in Springfield, IL. She began her nursing career working in labor and delivery, and has most recently been working in pediatric primary care and college health in the Bloomington-Normal community. She originally started practicing at BPC in February of 2020 and is thrilled to join the practice as a full time Family Nurse Practitioner.

Katelynne enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. She spends her free time cooking and reading, and is a lover of music, theater, and dance. Her special interest areas include women’s health and pediatrics.

Dr. Forney was born and raised on a small farm in nearby Brimfield, Illinois. He developed his interest in medicine as a volunteer on the local fire department. He enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, the great outdoors, and furnishing his home with his woodworking projects. Dr. Forney is excited to continue serving the community as he completed his family medicine training here in Bloomington-Normal.

Ms. Bankston joined Bloomington Primary Care in April 2014, previously having worked as a Certified Nurse Practitioner in El Paso, IL at a Family Practice clinic from 2002 to 2014. She provides care for patients of all ages who need health maintenance exams, diagnosis and treatment of acute illness or injuries, and management of chronic health conditions. Kim met her husband Tony while attending Illinois Wesleyan University, calling Bloomington/Normal home. Though busy raising four daughters, Kim manages to squeeze in time for reading and physical activity, two things that she has always enjoyed.

Ms. Scanlon joined Bloomington Primary Care September 2010 as CNP. In collaboration with Dr. Pilcher, she is responsible for obtaining histories, performing physical exams, diagnosing illnesses and prescribing meds & treatments, and providing procedures such as pelvic exams, simple incision and drainage of cysts and other medical procedures. Betty enjoys spending time with her husband and three teenagers, hiking with her sisters, and plays a mean keyboard.

Sue and her husband, Kelly, a teacher at Normal Community High School, have resided in the Bloomington/Normal area for nearly 30 years. They have two young adult daughters. Sue enjoys spending time with friends and family. One of her favorite aspects of the community is the Constitution Trail, where she walks and bikes regularly.
